英国海外签证怎么回事？
1. 申请英国旅游或探亲签，如果申请人目前不在中国，则只能申请Tier5(Youth Mobility Scheme) 或者visitor visa.
2. 如果在英国有熟人愿意担保你并且可以为你提供固定住所的话你可以考虑去英国大使馆网站上看看。
3. 中国公民没有在英永久居住权， 所以就算你在英国住十年二十年也没用. 不过如果你能在英国找到工作并拿到Tier 1 work permit， 在满足一定条件后就可以转成Tier 1 Exceptional Talent移民了. 这对本科博士毕业生比较有利。
4. T1 work in science， engineering and medicine is restricted to PhD holders only unless you are an exceptional talent. Tier 1 exceptional talent requires endorsement by the relevant body (for scientists this is the Royal Society， for engineers it’s EngineeringUK; for medics it's the British Medical Association)， which takes up to six months as far as I know. If successful they will issue a letter of support that you can submit with your application along with references from three academics. Your offer letter must be from either： a company that pays more than £10，000 per annum or holds at least two patents； a research institute such as an academy； a government department / agency. You need job offer before leaving China as well – though the offer doesn't have to state salary since they don't ask how much is paid. For medical doctors， offers should come directly from NHS hospitals instead of employers like universities.
5. There isn’t any scheme specifically targeting Chinese students because UK has enough home-grown talents already. However if there was one targeted towards those who want to stay longer than five years after graduation， then most graduate Chinese would qualify under Tier 2（Post Study Work）rules. After graduating you get two year post study work right immediately， another two years when on Tier 4 student visa， a further two during spouse/dependant child visa， and finally the final two when married with valid settlement visa.
6. A Tier 4 dependant visa is possible. It lasts just over four years but no work rights so you could apply while still studying but you won’t actually start getting settled status until after you finish university. As long as you hold this status your partner might also be able to apply once you reach residency level. You can even switch into settlement after qualifying under Tier 2 Post Study Work
