美国高中什么时间高考？
以我所在的高中为例，一般高三开学（9月）后开始申请大学。10-12月开始准备申请材料，12月底之前寄出申请材料。 大部分学校会在明年3月份给出录取的通知，4月份确定学校并签入学合同给学校付定金。5月底6月初会拿到I20表格，然后着手准备签证材料。7月底8月初签证，9月份正式入学。 这个流程是基本固定的，只是个别学校会有调整。比如有的学校会把申请材料和录取通知延迟到第二年1月份。
对于中国学生来说，申请美国高中最大的挑战在于如何能在短期内提高学生的综合素养和标准化考试成绩。大多数中国学生来美国读高中都是为了将来能申请到美国的顶尖大学。要满足这个目标，学生需要在高中阶段同时兼顾标化和课外活动，两个项缺一不可。
